PRE-BID NOTICE FOR UNFPA UPCOMING TENDER UNFPA/DNK/ITB/23/003 FOR THE PROVISION OF PHARMACEUTICALS, MEDICAL DEVICES AND KITS

United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA, http://www.unfpa.org) would like to bring to the attention of all potential suppliers an upcoming Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices and Kits tender which is tentatively planned to be launched in January 2023 (it was previous informed that it will be launched by end of June or beginning of July 2022 but it has been postponed to early February 2023).

The bidding exercise is expected to result in the establishment of Long Term Agreement(s) (LTAs) to enable UNFPA to purchase goods for the period of 3 years (2024 – 2027) as and when required for all its regular programmes as well as for programmes that may be funded by other institutions within the following categories:

• Pharmaceuticals
• Medical Devices
• Kits, including Emergency and Reproductive Health Kits (ERH Kits), Midwifery Kits, Consumable Kit for Implants and Fistula Kits.

UNFPA plans to maintain the way it has been tendering for these commodities by conducting one large process encompassing all the items and associated services. The process will be intended to facilitate that suppliers can present offers for as many categories and as many products as desired. It’s important to mention that suppliers who wish to submit offers for one category and/or partial bids of items within a category will be accepted under certain conditions.
