RFP-2022-183 Consultant on Virtual Interventions and Community System Strengthening - NACOReference :RFP-2022-183 Consultant on Virtual Interventions aDescription :The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to enter into a contractual agreement with a successful bidder (individual only, not company) and select a suitable contractor to provide support in the introduction and scaling up of digital and internet technologies within national HIV programmes to facilitate HIV service delivery for key populations that are hard to reach with current interventions and strengthen community systems for a stronger participation of the community in program implementation including community led monitoring.
Virtual Interventions
1. Analyse reasons that restrict KP access to existing services and suggest targeting populations with a differentiated approach that takes into account their specific needs.
2. Gathering evidence and tools in health-related virtual interventions for dissemination for incorporation in the virtual interventions’ strategy.
3. Provide overall assistance to conceptualize, implement, monitor the Virtual Intervention initiatives, and support implementation.
4. Undertake a mapping of the virtual intervention projects implemented by partners and provide overview of the strategies adopted and results achieved.
5. Provide technical support for development of the operational guidelines for virtual interventions.
6. Provide technical support to the national program and implementing partners in further refining the strategies based on the experiences from the ground
Community System Strengthening
1. Monitor implementation of the CSS framework recently prepared and coordination with development partners and implementing agencies implementing activities under CSS.
2. Coordinate with GFATM PRs/SRs on implementation of the CSS strategy.
3. Support the scale up of community led monitoring in the country in a phased manner in close coordination with partners.
4. Support the development of a National Community Led Monitoring Guidance Document
and further
5. Provide regular updates on donor/partner workplan implementation and strengthen the partnership with the National program
6. Support overall coordination with all stakeholders and development partners with the National program at National, State and District level.
7. Provide technical assistance in conducting periodic review, ongoing monitoring and supportive supervision at the national and state level and getting mid-course correction/ development of evidence approved through informed activities
The contract shall start from 20th January 2023 to 31st December 2023.
