Strengthening the Capacities of (KRG) in Iraq in the Areas of Planning & Budgeting
UNDP intends to obtain services of a consulting Company (hereinafter referred to as the “Contractor”) which is expected to mobilize a seasoned Team Leader who will lead and manage a team of experts of relevant qualifications and experience to provide the necessary technical assistance for planning and budgeting aiming at achieving specific agreed outputs.
The Contractor will specifically endeavor to implement a set of assigned specific project activities (see workplan attached) which comprise a mix of desk reviews, stocktaking exercises, assessments, consultations, data collection and analysis, formulation of recommendations and provision of advisory support and technical assistance focused on practical capacity building and on the job training comprising presentations of local planning and budgeting / alignment with regional strategies best practices and essential theory, practical examples and tools, follow-up and mentoring.
It is expected that the technical assistance will be provided through repetitive cyclical sequences of (i) short intense workshops for all three governorates and KRG, (ii) field visits and customized support and (iii) follow-up and remote coaching / mentoring to ensure adequate use of tools and quality of results.
