UNOPS hereby invite your company to bid for the supply of autoclave machines for the Philipines. UNOPS wishes to establish non-exclusive Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with multiple vendors.

New clarification added: Question: Our questions about the Lot #2 1. We couldn’t find in the technical specification information about feeding water for steam generator. According to international standards in EU, UK, USA feeding water for steam generator has to be treated (by deionizer or reverse osmosis) to quality demineralized water with water conductivity not more than 15 μSm/cm. The water treatment equipment has to be included in one set with an autoclave, or there is the demineralized water available on site? 2. According to part A. General requirements, item 2. Sterilization chamber capacity: between 100 and 120 liters. Could we offer an autoclave with a bigger chamber, for example 160 liter, which still meet demands of item 4. Overall dimensions?3. Answer: Kindly note that the mentioned tender is for establishing a non-exclusive Long Term Agreement(LTA); UNOPS will issue call-off orders to the LTA holder(s) as and when the requirements arise within the validity of specific LTAs. New amendment added #5: The following modification to the ITB Document is made through this amendment, with reference of the above ITB.1. Under Section III: Returnable Bidding Forms, Form D: Technical Bid formPlease kindly replace the term “Steam Generator” with the term “Heater” under point no.7 of the following lot no. below, since the standard procedure in hospitals is that the water used in autoclaves is distilled water, so there is no need to include a water treatment unit.Lot no.1 Autoclave, Benchtop (20L)Lot no.2 Autoclave, Floor Standing, Horizontal Loading (100L)Lot no.3 Autoclave, Floor Standing, Vertical Loading (50L)2. The submission deadline is extended to 12th January 2023.

New amendment added #1: Following modification to the ITB Document is made through this amendment, with reference of the above ITB.This amendment has been issued to include the following criteria for the evaluation in case the bids are submitted as a Joint Venture/Consortium/Association.All parties of such joint venture, consortium, or association shall be jointly and severally liable to UNOPS for any obligations arising from their offer and the contract that may be awarded to them as a result of the solicitation process;The offer shall clearly identify the leading partner to act as the contact point to deal with UNOPS, as detailed in the appropriate returnable form/schedule. Such entity shall have the authority to make decisions, binding upon the joint venture, association, or consortium during the bidding process and, in the event that a contract is awarded, during the duration of the contract; andThe composition or the constitution of the joint venture, consortium, or association shall not be altered without the prior consent of UNOPS.The eligibility criteria will be applicable for each joint venture partner.The qualification requirements mentioned in the qualifications section of the e-sourcing and in technical requirements ( like licensing, after-sales service etc) will be considered for all partners of the JV combined. It means the JV will qualify even if one of the partners qualifies or they combinedly qualify.

New clarification added: Question: In the "Evaluation Criteria" part, it mentions "At the time of the offer, the Bidder must present a valid and current License to Operate (LTO) as a medical device distributor issued by the Philippine Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on behalf of the Supplier/Bidder."Does it mean only local registered company can be bidder? Or it means the bidder must have a local agent who has a valid and current LTO as a medical device distributor?Answer:Dear Bidder,Both locally registered company and local agent who is complied with the requirements can submit the bid.Best regards,UNOPS
