Description
The United Nations Global Service Centre has a requirement for the establishment of a Long-Term contract (3+1+1 years) for the Provision of Inspection, Maintenance and Repair Services of electromechanical doors, shutters, sliding doors, turnstiles, electric windows, rapid doors, sliding folding doors and revolving doors at various buildings, within the UNGSC compound at Aeroporto Militare “Pierozzi” – Brindisi, Italy. The Contractor shall take into consideration the typology and activities to be carried out in the areas, as well as the vehicles and equipment to be used for the proper inspection, maintenance and installation. The electromechanical doors, shutters, sliding doors, turnstiles, electric windows, rapid doors, sliding folding doors and revolving doors are of various types and brands, and they will be serviced by the Contractor, which shall perform the following macro-activities: a. Preventive Maintenance: Routine works to be performed every six-months will include two different stages: - Inspection service; - Preparation of Detailed Technical Inspection Report (DTIR); - Maintenance Service; b. Repair Maintenance Service: The Repair Maintenance Service shall consist of the following: - Preparation of a complete and detailed Repair Report (if replacement of parts occurred); - Proposed remedial measures, material (i.e. detailed list of spare parts necessary for repairs), cost and time required; - Indication of additional services, if required; N.B The repair of any system will be done on a ‘as and when required’ basis, and only if approved by the UNGSC Representative. c. Certification of materials and electrical systems: - Detailed Technical Inspection Report (DTIR) with a description of the systems status; - Maintenance Report in reference to the operations performed and, if necessary, a Repair Report in which all damages and repair operations are listed; - List of spare parts recommended by the Contractor to be stored in the UNGSC warehouse; - Certification of all systems, in which the Contractor will declare that the equipment is repaired and fully operable; The services may occasionally require the use of aerial platform, cranes, scaffolding, etc. In this case the Contractor must provide it and ensure that when mounted, it does not create obstacles to the transit and circulation of vehicles and people inside the Base. In the event that extraordinary repair services are required, the works will be specified depending on the nature of the outage. The full technical requirements and details will be provided with a formal solicitation document to be issued at a later stage soon after the closing date for this EOI. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued.
