1. United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD) seeks Expressions of Interest (EOI) from suitably-qualified companies with required expertise and experience to perform General Construction & Construction Management services for a variety of interior construction and maintenance projects. 2. The scope of services will include construction management (for overall project scheduling, cost estimating, coordination with design consultants, NY Department of Buildings and landlords for leased spaces) and construction services on an 'On-call' basis. 3. The General Contractor/Construction Manager must be able to demonstrate extensive interior construction & reconfiguration experience within office buildings and specialty buildings (conference facilities/auditorium) with high security requirements. The General Contractor/Construction Manager must be able to demonstrate previous experience providing 'On-call' General Construction/Construction Management services. 4. The services will be required for the the main UNHQ premises located in Midtown East in NYC. 5. Construction works will involve close coordination with the UN project managers as well as the Architectural & Engineering design firm(s) retained by the United Nations Planning & Design Construction Section / Facilities and Commercial Activities Service. LOCAL/TRI-STATE PRESENCE/ REPRESENTATION/LICENSE REGISTRATION will be imperative. Please ensure that you are in a position to meet this requirement prior to submitting your interest. 6.
