Construction of Triplex Box Culvert (2.5x2.5)m in Khilo Village, Qayrawan District, Nineveh Governorate, Iraq.
The work includes the following:
A) Site Preparation and Excavation Works:
· Cleaning the whole site and transporting the debris to an appropriate location in coordination with the municipality.
· Excavation in all types of soils (even rock layers, asphalt, or existing foundation concretes).
B) Boulder Spreading Works:
· Provide machinery, equipment, and material to spread boulder of (0.35)m thick layer for the foundation with compaction.
C) Sub-base works:
· Supply all required materials, machines, and equipment for laying screened sub-base type (A) (samples should be taken from the stacks to the lab. for testing) according to SORB section R 6 on layers, each layer 20 cm thick with good watering (moisturizing) and compaction to 95% of MDD(Compaction test should be carried out in an official laboratory).
D) Triplex Box Culvert works:
· Provide materials and equipment to construct reinforced concrete triple box culvert inner dimensions (2.50 width x 2.50 height)m, using reinforced concrete class D (Sulfate Resistant cement) with compressive strength not less than 330 kg /cm².
· Casting lean concrete (10) cm thickness (1:3:6) beneath the foundation and using rubber water stop sealant/coating for the joints and also laying two layers of Cementous based waterproof material such as BASF Master Seal530 or WEBER SS10 or equivalent.
E) R.C. Slab Concrete works:
· Provide all materials and workforce for casting reinforced concrete with compressive strength of 250 kg/cm2 and (20 cm ) thickness (using Sulfate Resistant cement) with a layer of BRC space (15x15) 6mm thickness.
F) Steel HandRail Works:
· Providing all the required materials, machines, and workforce needed to manufacture and install iron handrail height (0.8 m) made from steel square pipe ( 5x5 cm) x 2mm thick, for the columns every 1.5m length and steel square pipe ( 5x2.5cm) x 2mm thick. For the top and bottom line and using steel square pip(2. 5x2.5 cm) x, 2mm thick, c/c 15 cm between the top and bottom line.
G) Rehabilitation of the existing box culvert works:
· Provide all the materials, machines, and workforce needed to rehabilitate the existing concrete box culvert; the price includes filling the spaces under the box culvert using a sub-base with good compaction, then a layer of 20cm of reinforced concrete using (Sulfate Resistant cement ).
· Laying two layers of Cementous based waterproof material such as BASF Master Seal530 or WEBER SS10 or equivalent. The contractor is responsible for re-direct the water during the implementation.
H) BASE WORKS (Crushed Gravel):
· Providing materials (samples should be taken from the stacks to the lab. for testing), all required machines, and equipment for laying a screened crushed gravel by digital compacted paver machine according to SORB section R7 with (15) cm thickness after compaction in one layer, according to the dimensions shown in attached layout with watering and compaction to 98% of MDD(Compaction test should carry out in an official laboratory).
I) Hot-Mix asphalt Concrete (Binder/stabilizer) works:
· Provide Materials, all machines, Equipment, and Labors for paving by digital compacted paver machine by a layer of asphaltic concrete binder 10 cm thick after compaction. The price includes spraying of Prime coat (0.75-1.2) lt/m2; the price consists of preparation and testing a formula for the batching plant and testing the bitumen mix design and all the necessary tests for the pavement by an accredited local laboratory.
Interested companies are invited to attend a Mandatory pre-bid conference/site visit for a complete understanding of the Scope of Works prior to sending the formal proposal to UNHCR. The pre-bid conference and site visit will be organized on the following date:
