Description

The purpose of this consultancy is to assist the Regional Programme Adviser in supporting the Programme, more specifically UN Joint Programme-UBRAF and 2gether 4 SRHR through RATESA and TWG for planning, monitoring, and reporting the joint programmes, and knowledge management for organizational performance

The consultant to support the RPA on the following:
I. Collect and compile information on the country needs and work out the support required by the thematic RPAs from the RST.
II. Facilitate RATESA consultations on Quality Assurance of Country Joint Plans and their reporting.
III. Draft strategies in supporting the countries by the RATESA both as a joint team and individual agency in identifying and addressing the country specific needs and issues.
IV. Revise the RATESA Terms of Reference aligning with the Global AIDS Strategy 2021-2026 and UBRAF 2022-2026.
V. Support RATESA members and RPAs for developing technical briefs on thematic areas.
VI. Support the RATESA for organizing Community of Practice with collecting information, putting them in presentable template and organizing meetings and preparing notes.
VII. Gather information on regional Joint Team reports and compile them in the given template and prepare for final validation and submission.
VIII. Follow up with Joint Team Members and liaise with HQ on supporting the online platform / template related issues e.g. JPMS.
IX. Draft concept notes and TORs for the joint programme implementation, documentation of successful practices and disseminations.
X. Collect necessary information in collaboration with SI adviser required by the convener of 2gether 4SRHR programme as a participating agency.
XI. Initiate and monitor the knowledge production and use for informing the Joint programming/advocacy and offer innovative ways of knowledge sharing for maximizing its uptake.
XII. Preform any other task assigned by the regional Director or the Supervisor
The duration of the consultancy will be for a maximum period of 7month time from the date of signing of the offer and agreed by UNAIDS, which will be spreading over 15 August to 31 March 2023
