Description :Key tasks:
• Develop and implement strategic communication & advocacy plan for UNAIDS Indonesia to promote wide ranging awareness and dissemination of strategic information on HIV in Indonesia; and to advocate for the full adoption of the Global AIDS Strategy
• Develop background materials including Q&As, key messages, talking points, proposals, reports, and other materials to support communication and advocacy needs; and
• Manage and implement national media outreach for UNAIDS Indonesia on a regular basis, maintain contacts with journalists, and organize press conferences and media events
• Manage and implement UNAIDS social media campaigns through official accounts fo UNAIDS Indonesian in Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and others.
• Production of communication & advocacy materials including videos, newsletters, brochures, podcast and promotional items to promote the work of UNAIDS and the Joint Programme in Indonesia with support from various donors including the Global Fund, USAID and DFAT.
• Perform any other duties as assigned.
Deliverables:
- Monthly planning of communication & advocacy outreach including social media campaign outreach for UNAIDS Indonesia developed and implemented
- Communication & Advocacy materials produced and disseminated among national stakeholders, including production of UNAIDS Indonesia Newsletter, Podcast Series, Feature Stories/Articles, Press Release, Briefing Note, Talking Points and others
- Social media campaign materials produced and disseminated through official social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc)
- Monthly reports of communication and advocacy outreach activities and outcomes at the country levels, including media clips, social media metrics and photos produced.
