Supply and Delivery of Filters for Air Handling Units and Air Purifier Units to UNESCAP, Bangkok

1. Requirement of works 1.1 Supply of filters to be used with Air Handling Units and Air Purifier Units in multiple locations within the UNESCAP premises. The contract shall have an initial period of three (3) years, with two (2) optional extensions of one (1) year each, totalling at five (5) years duration. 1.2 The technical specifications of current installed filters are provided under section 2. 1.3 The list of installed filters and estimated usage per year are provided under section 3 for guidance. The actual amount to be ordered, on an as and when required basis, may vary based on actual needs/requirements determined by UNESCAP. 1.4 The vendor must have a permanent representation and technical support services office established in Thailand. 2. Technical specification 2.1 MERV 14 filter for AHU a) Mini-pleat micro glass paper filter of MERV 14 with EPA approved antimicrobial and having dust loading capacity. b) Have a water repellent blinder to provide strength moisture resistance to ensure the correct operation over time. c) The initial air flow resistance of less than 175 Pa (0.75 inch w.g.) at its rated airflow velocity. d) All filters shall be labeled with the manufacturer reference 2.2 HEPA filter for AHU (Service building) a) HEPA filter comply with EN1822 H13, with minimum efficiency 99.95 % (MPPS) b) Filter size (mm) and rated airflow (CMH) i. H=610, W=305, D=292; 1500 CMH ii. H=610, W=610, D=292; 3400 CMH c) Related Initial Resistance equal 250 (Pa) d) Media type shall be fiberglass e) Frame material shall be Galvanized steel f) Gasket material shall be PU g) Gasket position shall be at downstream h) Recommended final resistance equal 750 (Pa) 2.3 HEPA filter for AAF air purifier units a) Compact filter consisting of EPA filter, Formaldehyde-odor and pre filter with 2 side seal compatibles with “AAF” PurAir 700 Air Purifier Unit, reference unit no.
