Description
The United Nations (UN), Department of Operational Support (DOS) intends to engage qualified Vendor(s) (manufacturers and/or authorized distributors), to supply, delivery, install and commission medical oxygen generation equipment to the UN, including Agencies Funds & Programs located worldwide. The Oxygen generation equipment are needed for the following two categories: 1. Containerized or skid mounted solution for filling of cylinders, and possibility for piping and delivering medical oxygen directly from oxygen plant to wards or operation theatres 2. Man portable oxygen generating equipment, self-contained, compact, independently functioning able to operate in forward harsh and difficult to reach locations with provision for direct connection to patient oxygen supply equipment or for filling of oxygen cylinders The United Nations intends to establish a systems contract(s) with the potential vendors for an initial period of three (3) years with the option to extend, at the sole discretion of the UN, for two (2) additional one (1) year period each (3+1+1 years), subject to satisfactory performance by the Vendor(s), availability of funds and the UN mandate. It is to be noted that the UN does not guarantee any minimum quantity to be purchased during the term of the Contract(s). The UN reserves the right to “split” the award and may choose to award multiple contracts to Vendor(s) who can provide the same items, in any combination the UN may deem appropriate. Please note that this request for Expression of Interest (EOI) is not the tender document. The vendors submitting the EOI will be included in the list of invitees for the upcoming solcitation/ tender, which will provide the details of the requirement.
