Tender description: Request for Proposal (RFP) for the Establishment of Long-Term Agreement (LTA) with supplier/s of smear microscopy supplies (including kits, equipment, accessories, reagents, consumables, and QC slides)

This RFP refers to the provision of Smear Microscopy Supplies and include the following Lots:
  • Lot 1: Bright field microscope
  • Lot 2: LED microscope
  • Lot 3: Kits for microscopy and sputum containers
  • Lot 4: Quality control slides
UNOPS/StopTB-GDF intends to enter into non-exclusive Long-Term Agreement(s) (LTA) for one or multiple lots with the awarded Offeror(s) and one or multiple LTA per Lot for the supply of an indefinite quantity of the specified goods in support of UNOPS/StopTB-GDF operations. In the event of UNOPS/StopTB-GDF signing Long Term Agreement(s), the following shall apply:
  • The agreements shall be valid for three (3) years, and with good performance of the supplier/s, the option to renew the LTA/s for two additional periods of one (1) year each under the same terms and conditions for a maximum five (5) years.
  • The awarded Offeror/s shall have the right to review their prices every 12 months from commencement of the LTA/s and shall notify UNOPS/StopTB-GDF in writing 90 days prior to the 12-month period of a proposed price decrease or increase. The awarded Offeror/s shall provide proper justification for any price increase. The UNOPS/Stop TB-GDF shall be entitled to either accept the price decrease / increase or to cancel the LTA/s and shall notify the successful Offeror/s in writing of its decision.
LTA/s in place will not be subjected to secondary bidding.
