The Global Procurement Support Section, UN Procurement Division on behalf of on behalf of various UN Peacekeeping Missions in Africa, hereby invites qualified suppliers from all countries to submit their Expression of Interest for the Supply and Delivery of Low Voltage Electrical Cables, split into the following categories: 1. Cable 1 Core - 1.5mm2 H07V-K 2. Cable 1 Core - 2.5mm2 H07V-K 3. Cable 1 Core - 4mm2 H07V-K 4. Cable 1 Core - 6mm2 H07V-K 5. Cable 1 Core - 10mm2 H07V-K 6. Cable 1 Core - 16mm2 H07V-R 7. Cable 3 Core BS 7919, H07RNF 8. Cable 4 Core Armd BS5467 9. Cable 4 Core,BS6746 ( Not Armoured), FG7R 10. Cable Core 5 -BS6746, FG7R 11. Cable Core 5 -BS7919, H07RNF The following delivery terms (Incoterm 2010) will apply: 1. FCA Port of Exit; 2. DAP Entebbe Uganda; 3. DAP Juba, South Sudan; 4. DAP Bangui, CAR; 5. DAP Goma, DRC 6. DAP Abyei Please note that expected delivery times would be the following: 1. FCA Port of Exit - 45 days; 2. 60 days after receipt of Order, for deliveries to all other DAP locations. 1.2 Suppliers should be aware of the difficulty of moving electrical materials to the various Missions in Africa due to the vast, harsh and remote DAP locations. 1.3 The proposed contract period is for an initial period of one (1) year with an option to extend for a further two (2) one (1) one-year period at the discretion of the United Nations (1+1+1). 2. Vendors will be shortlisted based on their ability to provide the relevant documents showing that they are authorized to undertake business and are required to submit their EOI, along with the following documents: a) Company’s address, contact person, telephone/fax numbers and e-mail b) Company's profile, capacity/capability and experience in similar requirement c) Copy of the registration certificate / license(s) of the company d) Proof of at least two previous/current experience (reference/ recommendation letter) indicating satisfactory performance in providing similar goods b) Company’s registration number (if already registered with UN) and UNGM registration number (www.ungm.org) 3. Companies can only participate in solicitations of the UN Secretariat after completing their registration (free of charge) at the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). 4. As you express interest in the planned solicitation by submitting the response form, please verify and ensure that your company is registered under its full legal name with the UN Secretariat on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). In addition, the desired Companies MUST have a minimum of 3 years working experience in similar services and magnitude. 5. Note that companies that have previously submitted EOI for similar services with UN must re-submit full documentation as detailed above. 6. Please note, this is not an invitation for submission of proposals. Its purpose is to identify companies that would be interested to participate in the solicitation when issued. 7. The UNPD/GPSS will examine the outcome of this request for EOI and will consider those companies that have expressed their interest by providing the required information as to their ability to fulfill UN’s requirement. 8. Regional Procurement Office reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. The tender and any subsequent commitment to contract will be issued in accordance with UN rules and regulations. 9. The Expressions of Interest (EOI) may be submitted by e-mail clearly marked with the inscription “Expression of Interest – “Supply and Delivery of Low Voltage Electrical Cables for multiple Missions in the Region” and sent to the following address to be received no later than 1730H (Entebbe local time: GMT +3) 19 March 2018. EOI not addressing the above criteria to the satisfaction of UNPD/GPSS shall not be considered for the solicitation to bid, if and when issued. UNPD/GPSS reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the solicitation and merely expressing an interest would not automatically warrant the receipt of a solicitation document. 11.
