ITB Short Form Construction Contract - Rehabilitation Works for Ministry of Education Schools in Irbid Governorate

New clarification added:  "Reference to section 3 :CFW Labour expenses table , please inform us the quantity column cell in No.1 should be filled by monthly basis(425 workers) or should be filled for all project duration (850 workers)? and in No.3 it should be filled by (425*25%*1 month) or (425*25%*2 months)?" In order to clarify more the calculation under (Section 3 :CFW Labour expenses) table please note the following:SN#1- (The number of workers 425*60 days).SN#2- (The number of workers 425*60 days).SN#3 -The total number of workers per each lot is 425. (25%) of the workers will need transportation to be arranged by the contractor (and will be reimbursed by UNOPS), so the calculation should be based on (106 workers* 60 days).  Regards,

So to consider the total number of workers in each lot as 425, that are employed for 60 daysRegards, 

New clarification added: "Reference to returnable bid schedule 11 ... Outline statement of proposed methods (ITB Short Form) Please clarify how this table should be filled? Taking into consideration that it is typed in the last column that the number of working months (3)please fill an example for this table since it is not clear for us, especially the quantity column." Pleas note that the example is already mentioned in the table and it shows how bidders should fill it. However, the 3 months is an example and bidders should mention 2 months not three as mentioned in the tender.Regards,

New clarification added: "Could you please provide the contacts to arrange visits to the sites included in the project "Rehabilitation Works for Ministry of Education Schools in Irbid Governorate"?"  Please note that the sites visits are not applicable at this stage and once the contract is signed, visits to sites will be arranged.

"Are the costs of managing 425 laborers including HR and training them to be charged to the contractor price?"Yes, the contractor must include the cost of training and managing the workers.2. "Do the costs of the social security and the issuance of permits in the BOQ have to match the invoices that will be submitted at the end of each month?" The cost of the social security and work permits depends on the number of workers that are empoloyed so it can be different than the BoQ.3. "The Contractor must complete the recruitment process for CfW workers to be employed on the project within a maximum period of 30 calendar days from the start date of the contract. or from signing the contract?"During the one month Mobilization period that starts at the signing of the contract, contractor should start the recruitment process of the CfW from the list they recieve from UNOPS. 4."Are UNOPS going to give us a list of the employees or should the contractor hire employees?"UNOPS provides the workers with the list of workers to be hired. 5."The contractor is responsible for facilitating and arranging the transportation, will the laborers pay any fees? Either way, this point is not totally, could you please break it down?"The contractor should facilitate the transportation to the workers who live far away from the schools where they will be working.

New clarification added: 1. "I would like to ask about refugees work permits and social insurance as the ministry of labour is forcing companies to enter labourers in the social insurance for the whole period of permits not only the project period so could we issue new permits for only 3 months?" Please note that the the work permits will be issued for three months.2. "I would like to ask another qustion, does our prices for social insurance for a month or two?"Please note that the social security should be only for two months.Regards,

New clarification added: "Can we repeat the key personal CV'S for all lots?Can we use the same cv?"Please note that  the bidder should propose a distinct project team for each LOT, sharing key personnel between the LOTs will not be acceptable, except for the Project Manager .Therefore, in regard to this criteria if the bidder provides same key personal CV's for all  proposed lots, only one lot will be considered in the technical evaluation. For more details please refer to tender document (RETURNABLE BID SCHEDULE 6-PROPOSED PROJECT TEAM AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE).Regards,
