Description
The UN-International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (UN-ICTY) with its Headquarters located in The Hague, Netherlands, seeks interested vendors to provide the rental of several categories of digital multi-functional printers/copiers and related services to the UN-ICTY. The UN-ICTY is planning to rent the following categories of printers/copiers: - Category 1 = Very High-Volume Printers = 1 printing system; 180 ppm with est. 160,000 prints per month - Category 2 = High-Volume Printers = 2 printing systems; 80 - 95 ppm with est. 83,000 prints per month - Category 3 = Mid-Volume Printers = 30 units + 23 optional units; 60 - 75 ppm with est. 10,000 - 13,000 copies per machine per month - Category 4 = Full-colour printer = 1 unit; 25ppm with est. 15,000 copies per month The expected rental contract(s) shall be an all-in service and shall start from the installation and commissioning of the machines, with the latest planned entry-of-service date of 01 July 2012, and shall expire by 31 December 2013. Thereafter, the UN-ICTY will have options to extend the rental four (4) times more at six-month periods each; During the rental period of the machines, the Contractor shall be responsible for the following materials and services relating to this equipment: • Toner, developer and consumables as necessary (except paper) for the equipment; • Spare parts as necessary, available on demand; • Monthly and/or weekly maintenance services; • Repair/remedy services; • Assigning a regional office for administrative purposes; and • Technical assistance for the various functions of the machines. As and when required, the contractor may be required to provide training to UN-ICTY staff members on the use and basic care of the printers/copiers. Monthly rental shall be based on actual number of prints and price-per-print. The price-per-print should at least include the following costs: • Use of the Equipment (hardware and software); • Depreciation of the Equipment; • Delivery, installation and commissioning as well as de-commissioning and collection at the end of the contract period; • Supply of toner, spare parts and standard consumables; • Removal of the Equipment’s hard-drives at the end of the contract period; • Monthly maintenance of the Equipment (defined as both hardware and software components) as well as a hotline support, all associated materials and services, and all related costs and expenses incurred by the Contractor, including labour and travel costs within the official UN-ICTY working hours
