New clarification added: Please find below some Clarifications to the questions asked on by 17th January 2022:Is intended that the 17Number workstations be of equal length? Approximately over 2 metres length? Would it be agreeable for the corner pieces ( L-shaped) be of a different length and the straight desks to be of different length but keeping the L-shaped desks uniform and the straight desks uniform? The workstations are approximately 1.5m equal lengths. Agreed, corner lengths will be different from the straight stations.Could you please provide the internal measurements of the two rooms into which the desks are to be installed?The overall length of the desks is 50 for both rooms as we have indicated in the BoQ item 1.Could you please allow an individual vendor’s visit to enable the Vendors’ own visits to take the measurements of the rooms? The site visit passed.The drawings Drawings ( File: Office Layout-RFQ_2021_33435.pdf) show the depth of the desks as 600 mm. The Annex 1 BoQ gives the depth as 740 mm. Which one should be adopted? Adopt BoQ measurements. Would UNOPS accept desks of 745 mm width instead of 740 mm?The difference is minimum and acceptableWould the legs of the desks be acceptable is in 50 mm x 50 mm Square Hollow Metal tubes 3 mm thick and painted to a colour of UNOPS selection? Chrome frame is the UNOPS requirementWould Perspex screens 6mm thick 750 mm width and 745 mm high be acceptable? The height of perspex is 600mmThe Perspex’s only available standard finish is Transluscent. The desks are white. Does UNOPS require the Perspex to be white? What does it mean that ‘The Perspex screens finish to match the Main desk in the BoQ?Frosted screens are manufactured in different colours and UNOPS is requesting for white.

New amendment added #2: This amendment is includes the clarifications noted during the site visit on 12th January 2022. The clarifications document has been uploaded under the documents section as RFQ/2021/33435.As a result of the clarifications raised, there are revisions made to the request for quotation and the BOQ and are summarized as follows:Central storage cabinet has changed in height specification and size- please refer to the BOQ to see the detailed changes.Annex 1- BOQ included as a separate sheet for the suppliers to fill in Excel, sign and stamp.Edge screen boards changed from perspex to MDF Reduced number of perspex screensExtended deadline of submission of tender from 18th January 2022 to 21st January 2022, and deadline of clarifications extended to 17th January 2022

New clarification added: i was requesting clarification.On the quantities of office desk you wrote 50 m what does that mean?On the rest of the things you wrote 17 Nr what does that stand for?Clarification: m stands for metres, and Nr stands for Number.For other clarifications, please see the attached RF-2021/33435- Clarifications document uploaded under the document section, which contains all the clarifications raised during the site visit. Also, the RFQ returnable documents and BOQ have been revised and uploaded in the Document section, please use the revised documents in submitting your bid.

New clarification added: Dear Bidders,For the site visit, please ensure that you book the person representing your company for the site visit on 12/01/2022. A maximum of 2 people, but preferably one person will be allowed from one company. Booking refers to sending the name of the person and their ID number.

New amendment added #1: The tender will close on 18th January 2022 to allow sufficient time for suppliers to respond.The site visit has been adjusted to 12th January 2022 from 10.30am (Kenya time).
