The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) invited Company/Firm to submit a Proposal for the provision of Supervise the execution of Consolidation and Reconstruction works on the Al Hadba Minaret in Mosul, Iraq, in accordance with the present solicitation document.

UNESCO is soliciting proposals from highly qualified Contractors with specific experience in designing & supervising consolidation/restoration& reconstruction interventions on historical monuments & sites to Supervise the execution of consolidation and reconstruction works on the Al Hadba Minaret in Mosul, Iraq. 
The Al Hadba Minaret belongs to the Al Nouri complex, where the main mosque of Mosul is located. Considered as one of the symbols of the city of Mosul, and one of the most iconic monuments of Iraq, the Minaret went through major destructions, the conflict ended in 2017. 
UNESCO has been working to prepare the final design for its consolidation and reconstruction, including the implementation of a thorough set of field investigations aimed at assessing the actual conditions of the monument, after the damages occurred.
Based on the approved design, which includes both structural and geotechnical works, the selected Contractor is expected to supervise the actual execution of the consolidation and reconstruction works on the Minaret. 

Note: Please note that the deadline for submitting proposal has been extended (through attached Amendment I) to January 14, 2022, before 18:00 hour Baghdad local time
