RFQ/2021/34684 Q1 - Thank you for your answer, but still need more clarifications from you please regarding this item (dressing coupling) such as whether it should be used for connecting Ductile pipes only ?Or to connect Ductile pipes with other different pipes materials ( like : Ductile to : PVC or PE Pipes) ?and the outside diameter of the pipes to be connected using dressing coupling , besides the pressure rating are not specified .Answer - 1 As mentioned above the type of material are Ductile and coupling should fit the piping size mentioned and requested to be supplied reference to specification in section II. RFQ/2021/34684 Dear Madam/SirQ: under LOT 3:Ductile Iron (DI) Fittings items No.1.2.1 to 1.2.4 Dressing Coupling,After reviewing the Section II Schedule of Requirements and Section III Returnable Bidding Forms as well as the BoQ, there is no Clare specifications mentioned for the Dressing Coupling, and since dressing couplings can be produced in different materials and features, therefore please confirm the material and other speculations for dressing coupling required. And if possible kindly arrange to prove an illustrative picture for more clarity.Answer: The material of the Ductile Iron (DI) Fittings (Dressing Coupling) is DuctileThis shall form part of the official solicitation documents. RFQ/2021/34684 Dear Madam/Sir Q1 - With reference to mentioned tender , I would like to ask you the following : All tests as mentioned or directed by the TWSLC /UNOPS Engineer shall be borne by the bidder and the costs shall be included in the BoQs unit rates. Could you please provide the contact information for TWSLC In Taiz to ask them regarding the test process stage and how our subcontractor handled over the testing pipes with fitting to estimated exactly cost to be clear in our proposal. Answer - Following your request, we are unable to reveal the contact information of engineers or other personnel due to UNOPS internal processes and regulations; nevertheless, please submit us all prospective quotations that will be requested, and we will provide you with engineering team responses.This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. RFQ/2021/34684 As Yemen is a war zone we are facing difficulties in determining the shipping rate so would you kindly :Q1- Accept Delivery based on FOB or FCA origin?Response to qn.1No, we are unable to amend the incoterms and any bids that do not comply with the incoterms in the tender document shall be disqualifiedQ2-Extend the bid due date till Dec 20th Response to qn2.The closing date for the tender cannot be extended, the items are required for an emergency response to the needs in Yemen thus the supplies are urgently required. This shall form part of the official solicitation documents. Please be guided accordingly.
