1. The UNPD Regional Procurement Office (RPO), on the behalf of the Regional Support Center (RSC) hereby invites qualified contractors from all countries to submit their expression of Interest for provision of necessary professional Architectural and Engineering Services for the Design of Horizontal and Vertical infrastructure at UN Regional Service Centre, Entebbe, Uganda. 2. The horizontal infrastructure shall be designed for the entire UN Support Base and shall consist of the following: Electrical/ Power supply and distribution network with the possibility to include photovoltaic components in the future;Close Circuit Television (CCTV) system for security surveillance, Review of existing/planned Security Installations Information and Communication Technology (ICT) installations including structured cabling; Waste Water Disposal System and Sewage Treatment Plant; Solid Waste Disposal systems; Water Supply and Distribution system; Storm Water Drainage system; Greening/Landscaping; Parking, Walkways, Circulation and Roads; Site Access Control and Alarm Systems; Fire Detection & Fighting installation systems including review of the existing fire hydrant network and future requirements. 3. The vertical infrastructure shall include the design of the following buildings: Regional Training & Conference Centre- (RTCC); Bank; Cafeteria/Restaurant; Welfare Club/ Recreation area including Gym and other facilities; Clinic/Hospital (Level 3), Fire Brigade; Supermarket/ PX. The design of the above seven (7) buildings shall include the design of the following services as well: Solid Waste disposal system; Plumbing and Drainage installations; Access Control and Alarm systems; Fire Detection & Fire Fighting systems; Electrical Installations; Information and Communication Technology systems (ICT); HVAC The buildings shall be designed for a minimum period of 50 years as permanent structures. 4. Qualified companies invited to tender will receive the project documents including the project overview, statement of requirements and expected outputs. It is the Consultant’s responsibility to develop the Project in compliance with applicable requirements of International and National Laws, Codes, Rules, Regulations, Ordinances, and Quality Standards.
