1.0 This Scope of Requirements (SOR) defines the requirement of the United Nations Assistance Mission in Iraq (UNAMI) Baghdad to establish a Long-Term Agreement/Contract for the supply and delivery of Medical Consumables & Lab Regent by an authorized dealer for the initial term of (3) years with an option to extend the resulting contract under the same terms and conditions for additional two (2) years, one year at a time (for a cumulative duration of 5 years: 3+1+1 years), at the discretion of UNAMI and subject to satisfactory performance of the prospective contractor, continued validity of the UNAMI/service requirement and extension of the UNAMI’s mandate.. 2.0 The solicitation will be based on a detailed list of items with technical specifications required byUNAMI , UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for the tender. 3.0 Please note on the following: 3.1 This REOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. 4.2 UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities. 4.3 Mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender documents. 4.4 UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
