Answer 21: The ice maker should be able to produce Ice Blocks of sizes: 2.5kg, 5kg, 10kg, 20kg etc. Question 22: Lot 4: Refer to clarification issued on May 03,2021, question 8: The box should be suitable for snap freeze fish and should be insulated. Could you please confirm this requirement. If yes, please provide a picture of a Multiple high-density polyethylene HDPE fish box suitable for snap freeze that is insulated. Answer 22: Please see sample picture as requested but the picture is only for illustration purposes and not the actual product. The bidder can propose the product that meets the minimum specifications. Question 23: please provide detailed DAP addresses for LOT 1, 2 & 3 for requesting the exact transportation costs. Answer 23: The deliery address is DAP Incoterms 2010 West Point community and King Gray Community, Monrovia – Liberia. The final destinations within the community will only be decided at the time of the order. Can we offer Alternative Current (AC) instead of DC?Answer 06: Please note that the requirement is for DC Solar-powered chest freezers and UNOPS will not accept any other alternatives. Question 07: For Lot-3 - The working capacity of the solar block ice machine is only 1.2kgs/hour? The total capacity is less than 30kgs/day? Answer 05: Please note that the tender was posted on 2021-04-16 09:29 UTC and the deadline is 2021-05-10 10:00 UTC, which the bidders had more than 23 days. Would you please clarify if this requirement is mandatory or optional?Answer 03: JV form is not mandatory. it is optional and should be submitted in case of any JV being formed for this tender. New clarification added: Question 2:We do not have a local agent/partner in Liberia,only online support available,can we only supply and delivery lot No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 without providing the other services?Answer 2: Please refer to answer 01 under the clarifications tab on similar queryQuestion 3:Can we only supply some of the 4 lots items but not all of those 4 lots items?Answer 3: Bidders shall be allowed to quote prices for one or more lots identified in this tender. However, bidders must offer 100% of the items specified for each lot and to 100% of the quantities specified for each item of a lot. Evaluation will be done per lot.

New clarification added: Question 01: For Lots 01.02.03 and 04 is it a mandatory to have a local agent / partner ?Answer 01: For Lots 01, 02, 03 and 04, it is not mandatory have a local agent/ partner but for lot 05, 06, 07, 08, 09 and 10 it is mandatory to have a local agent/ partner, since these are associated services for the lots 01, 02, 03, and 04 respectively.
