As part of its efforts to raise awareness, build capacities and identify and address potential security risks stemming from climate change in the OSCE region, the OSCE requires the services of an Implementing Partner (IP), an experienced and internationally active organization engaged in research, policy analysis and strategic and practical advice on climate change and security with a focus on the OSCE region. The IP’s services will be needed particularly in participatory development of transboundary co-operation measures in project regions, starting with South-Eastern Europe and the South Caucasus, and in the organization of awareness-raising and capacity building programmes to increase knowledge and awareness on potential security risks stemming from climate change targeting various stakeholder groups.
