Provision of Short Messaging Services (SMS) for the Private Sector Partnerships of United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees Sub-Office Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of China

UNHCR Sub-office Hong Kong needs to contact donors on various issues to improve donor
communication. Currently we use phone calls and letters, we want to speed up the contact process by
sending out SMS messages. Short Messaging Services (SMS) is a text message service using standard
communication devices, which allow the exchange of short text message. We want to use this texting
message service to reach out to donor via mobile phone in English and Chinese. As most donors in our
record have mobile phone, we believe this could improve contact rate and minimise our postage costs.
