1. The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to enter into a long termcontract with a qualified vendor for the supply of vehicle tyres, batteries and workshop accessories as per the core requirement list. 2. UNAMI seeks the Supply and Delivery of Miscellaneous Items, Batteries and Tires to UNAMI Vehicle Fleet at Erbil,UNAMI intends to award a contract for this requirement will be for an initial period of one year with an option to be extended for two additional periods of one year each subject to satisfactory performance of the vendor and at the discretion of UNAMI . 3. METHOD - The vendor will supply the items on as when required basis upon receipt of awritten order form UNAMI specifying as per the contract details of the item ordered as well as the price and UNAMI’s delivery location in Irbil, Iraq . - All items supplied under the contract shall not be older than one (1) year from their date ofmanufacture and shall carry a warranty of two years under storage conditions from the date of receipt or one (1) year from date of usage whichever comes first. - Batteries supplied should be maintenance free, supplied from most recent stock held by thevendor and should have a shelf life of at least one-year from the date of manufacture. - All batteries supplied should conform to ISO 9001:2000 standards or equivalent. - Tyres supplied under the contract shall not be older than one (1) year from their date ofmanufacture and shall carry a warranty of two years under storage conditions from the date of receipt or one (1) year from date of usage whichever comes first - All vehicle tyres, batteries and miscellaneous vehicle items are to be Original EquipmentManufacturer (OEM). 4.TIME FRAME • The contract will cover the period of one year. • One year from the day contract will be signed by both parties. The contract may be extended to an additional Two years, one year at a time subject to satisfactory performance of the vendor and at the discretion of UNAMI. • Miscellaneous items ordered which are available in stock, should be delivered the same day. If the miscellaneous items are out of stock, the vendor is obliged to inform the CTO or his designated representative for the time required to supply items. • The time to acquire and supply the miscellaneous items should not be more than 2 weeks. 5. Mandatory Requirements: . Bidders Must have Registration License for Iraq. . Bidders shall provide written proof of minimum of 3 years’ experience with International organization, reputable company or public corporation in provision of supply and delivery of spare parts, miscellaneous items, batteries and tires, or any similar requirements . Bidder Shall provide a warranty of twelve months for the batteries from the date of purchase. . The supplied items should carry the minimum required standard UN warranty of two years from the date of receipt and storage and one year from the date of usage whichever comes first . Bidders Must Supply Genuine Spare Parts. 6.0 Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation to submit a bid/proposal. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for the Tender document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline without citing any reason.
