Description
The UNGSC requires a Contractor to perform the services for: long-term contract for the inspection, maintenance and repair services of paint booth, ventilation, dehumidification, and exhaust gas extractor systems at United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) in Brindisi, Italy. In summary: The preventive maintenance shall be carried out by the Contractor at established intervals and consists of a series of operations aimed to prevent anomalies. Furthermore, on an ‘as and when required’ basis, inspection and repair services shall be carried out upon request by the UNGSC and for selected items, and the Contractor shall produce a Detailed Technical Inspection Report, which will be evaluated to decide whether to start the eventual works. The items to be maintained are the following: Electro‐mechanical Ventilation System consisting of: - No. 4 model Klimatec 450 - No. 1 model Rhoss ADV - No. 1 model Klimatec 630, type KTA 030 Exhaust Gas Extractor System consisting of: - No. 4 units located Paint Booth/Rooms consisting of: - No. 1 model Polin Extracarb AFS96 - No. 1 model Aritech Dehumidifier System consisting of: - No. 2 model MUNTERS MX2100 - No. 3 LUFTA DEHUTECH 2500 - No. 9 MUNTERS MA2500 The bi-yearly routine maintenance service shall consist in, but not limited to the following activities: - Check and fix control equipment, thermostat, pressure switch, thermometers gauge, manometers gauge, humidity, humidity/temperature sensors, pocket well hydro‐ separator, motorized /manual dampers and display control systems - Remove rust around the equipment systems and paint with protective materials where necessary - All materials, debris, soot (fuliggine) and exhaust filters resulted from the performance of the service MUST BE DISPOSED to an Authorized Dump Site. Copy of the certification must be submitted to the UNGSC’s Contract Manager The Contractor shall provide with the maintenance service the following consumables: - Grease and lubricants for any rotating and moving parts - Gaskets, rubber, bolts, nuts and screws (small hardware), paint, fuses, insulation tape, solvent, sealant and other similar materials During the spring routine maintenance services (April/May) the contractor shall carry out the decommissioning procedures. All services, materials and supplies provided during the execution of this Contract, shall be in full compliance with the pertinent Italian Laws and Regulations and in accordance with the relevant Standards and Codes of Practice of Italy and Europe, UNI or any other internationally accepted set of Codes and Standards, such as but not limited to the following: - The Italian Legislative Decree No. 81 dated April 9, 2008 (“Testo unico Sulla Sicurezza”) and the UNGSC/international standards with respect to occupational safety and health requirements; - The Italian Legislative Decree No. 152 dated April 3, 2006 (“Testo unico Sull’Ambiente”) and the UNGSC/international standards with respect to environmental requirements; - European Code 89/392/CEE; - UNI 10339:1995 Impianti aeraulici al fini di benessere. The full technical requirements and administrative instructions will be provided with a solicitation document to be issued at a later stage after the closing date for this EOI. This REOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UNGSC reserves the right to change or cancel the requirements at any time during the REOI and solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee that your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation documents when issued. The UNGSC Procurement considers a firm's qualifications and experience in the particular commodity/service area, and previous performance, when preparing a list of invitees. Therefore, in case of EOIs concerning equipment or supplies, for responding vendors who are not manufacturers, full details of the vendor's status, as a factory-appointed wholesaler or distributor, must be provided.
