New clarification added: Question 7 - Dear UNMAS Team,what you requested in the "Schedule of Requirement", regarding:"training on guarding by certified training companies accredited by the Ministry of Interior / Iraqi Police";We advise that we have:- Arranged to contact the Iraqi Embassy- To contact the Iraqi Consulate Office- To contact the Ministry of Interior in Iraqand to date, none of their offices have provided an answer.Our Company is in possession of Security Guard Certificates, and also "Certificates for qualification to handle short and long firearms", the Security Guard certification was issued byAEGIS International based in the USA. If you believe these certificates are valid, we will continue with advancement in the tender.We specify that no Iraqi government office has answered us.Best regardsAnswer 7 - As indicated in Schedule of Requirement, the Security Guards should attend a two-day training on guarding by certified training companies accredited by the Ministry of Interior/Iraqi Police. The training can be conducted after the contract is issued. It is not mandatory now that bidders have to provide names of accredited training companies along with their submission. Bidders need to provide information on how and when they plan to conduct the training.

New clarification added: Question 5 - Dear UNMAS Team ,in preparing the requested economic offer and evaluating the percentage discount, on how many men do we have to face the estimate?How many Security Guards will have to be engaged in the work?Thank you so much for the valuable reply.Answer 5 - As indicated in the Schedule of Requirements, the number of security guards required shall be determined as follows: “Two English speaking armed (9mm pistol & 3 magazines) security guards present at the premises 24 hours, 7 days a week. The guarding should be arranged in three shifts 24/3 = 8 hours per shift.”

Important?Many thanks for helping and assistanceAnswer 4 – The document, ITB_Section_IV_Contract Forms_ITB_2020_16278.doc is a Contract Form that will be signed between UNOPS and the winning bidder. At this point, Bidders are not required to fill the document and submit with their bid submission.

New clarification added: Question 2 - ITB Section II, Schedule of Requirements ask that the bidder security guards attend a two-day training course on gurarding by certified training companies accreditted by the Ministry of Interior/Iraq Police. We are not aware of any training providers that are accreditted by the Ministry of Interior/Iraq Police. Please can you provide a list of providers or will you accept our own training, which can be certified and accredited by Highfield, a globally recognised awarding body.Answer 2 - UNOPS will accept your own training, but at least the type of training/course shall be approved by the Ministry of Interior/Iraq Police.

New clarification added: Question 1 - Dear UNMAS Team, We kindly seek clarification on the below questions.The ‘Tender Particulars’ state the location of services as Baghdad only; whereas, ‘Section II – Schedule of Requirements’ states the location of services as both Baghdad and Erbil. Please confirm the location of services.We understand that the payment terms are 30 days.
