United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) has a requirement for the provision and management of a “GROCERY SHOP” to its personnel stationed in UNAMI D2 compound, International Zone, Baghdad (IZ), Iraq. at no cost to the organization: 1.1 The selected Contractor shall provide grocery items on a cost-profit basis. The Contractor shall charge the customers in accordance with an established price list which shall be based on the actual cost plus their percentage markup (Contractor’s profit margin). This markup should be applied to the unit prices of your bid for the Grocery Shop, which will be evauated. UNAMI to conduct periodic review to ensure compliance with the agreed price markup on all goods sold in the shop. Invoices for all goods bought to stock the shop must be maintained and provided to UNAMI on requests. Customers shall purchase their items by cash in US Dollars or in Iraqi Dinars currency. The Contractor shall provide a complete service consisting of the supply of various goods/services, as well as the management of the facility.. 1.2 UNAMI intends to award a Concession Agreement Contract for an initial period of three (03) years with an option for extension under the same terms and conditions for additional two (2) years, one year at a time, subject to continued validity of the requirement, satisfactory performance and extension of the UNAMI mandate. 2.0 The solicitation will be based on detailed Statement of requirement (SOR), Bill of Quantities (BOQ), UN General Conditions of Purchase order and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for this tender. 3.0 ransition/Hand Over: UNAMI will coordinate a smooth transition from one contractor to the other to ensure minimal interruption of services. 4.0 UNAMI will provide facilities for the Grocery Store at no cost “ ex gratia” in “as is “condition to be used as sales area. The facilities are located at UNAMI D2 compound, International Zone, Baghdad, Iraq. The layout of the facilities is provided in the attached Annex C. The Contractor will be responsible to pay for all utilities at cost. 5.0 The Contractor will be responsible for provision, transportation and storage of goods, provision and maintenance of equipment that is required for the operation of the “Grocery Shop” 6.0 The Grocery Shop should be opened seven (7) days per week from 10.00 Hours until 18.00 Hours
