The United Nations Global Service Centre (UNGSC) seeks an appropriately qualified contractor to establish a contract for the provision of cleaning and disposal service for sewage system, septic and portable toilets at its premises located in Brindisi, Italy. The UNGSC sewage pipelines comprises of approximately 9,000.00 linear meters and sewage meteoric waters with approximately 500 sewage manholes. The requested services shall include, but will not be limited to the following: - Inspection and provision of technical advices and reports; - Emptying of septic biological tanks; - Cleaning of sewage manhole, sewage pipeline and/or unclogging of pipeline; - Inspection of water/sewage line with ad-hoc camera; - Provision and distribution of water into tanks suitable for human consumption; - Standard chemical analysis of potable water and waste; chemical analysis of potable water for Legionella bacteria; - Water chlorination of lines; - Rental of portable chemical toiles, replenish service of consumables and emptying service for portal chemical toilets; - Disposal of connected waste including authorization from the local environmental authority to transport and dispose all discarded materials to an authorized dump area specific to the typology of the material. The resulting contract will be established for an initial period of three (3) years, with the UNGSC's sole option to extend the term of the contract for two (2) additional periods of one (1) year each (3+1+1).
