New amendment added #2: This amendment was raised in order to:Add the minutes of the 1st site visit that was held in Al Tutanji Hospital on 28 September 2020.Add a second site visit which will be conducted on 1 October at 10am in Al Tutanji Hospital- Sahab District . You can find the 2nd site visit details under the tender particulars tab.Amend some points (labled in red) in the file named "2. Appendix B. Project Technical Specifications"Note: Attendance to the 2nd site visit is mandatory for all participating bidders in order to consider their offers. Offers that will be submitted from bidders who did not attend the site visit will be execulded during the eligibility evaluation stage, except those bidders who attended the 1st site visit which was conducted on 28 September 2020.

New clarification added: Clarification:1- We have noticed during the site visit that no temperature/humidity or differential pressure sensors installed, is the supply of such items part of the project scope?UNOPS Answer: As clarified in the BOQ description, those field devises are within the scope of work and should be installed to achieve the required control for VFD, PICV modulation, and steam humidifier ON /OFF.Clarification:2- Should AHU control performed using built-in controller in the AHU or it can be performed using external controller?UNOPS Answer: Both solutions are accepted provided that same control function is achieved during operation.

New clarification added: Clarification:Unfortunately, we could not attend the clarification meeting for special reasons, but we will attend the site inspection will be conducted tomorrow at 10:00 am.Our questions are :1. Can we still able to participate in this tender.?2. Can you please provide us with recorded minutes of the meeting?3. New clarification added: Clarifications: We need to know if there is, a scond site visit.We missed the site visit that was arranged , we know the site very well and we could arrange to visit by our own or as per a new scheduled time you may propose. kindly advice either to proceed and submit our offer or to stop .We obtained the tender documents today, therefore, we missed the site visit. We are interested in participating in this tender. New clarification added: Clarifications:1- Returnable Bid Schedule 1 - Form of Bid: should point 6 be deleted from the submitted form as bid security is not required as per bid particulars?2- Returnable Bid Schedule 12 – Declaration: who is considered as an authorized witness?3- Returnable Bid Schedule 6 – Project Team and Organizational Structure: is a safety officer with experience more than 5 years and not holding BSc acceptable?4- Is VFD required for all AHUs?5- Casing is specified in the BOQ as 1.0mm/0.7mm outer/inner panel without mentioning material while in the specs it is 1.0mm/0.7mm outer/inner Aluminum panel, please confirm the required thickness and material of panels.6- What should control the fan VFD? Should differential pressure switch across HEPA filter be supplied?7- What is the type of control valve required for steam humidifier?8- Is sound attenuator mandatory? If so, can it be installed in duct instead of being a section in the AHU?9- Is the plant manager mandatory for chillers? Taking into account that each chiller will be supplied with microprocessor controller.UNOPS Answers:1- This form was amended, please see amendment no. 12- The authorized witness, is any person in the company who has the authority to sign3- All project team should have the requested educational backgroud and experienced in order to be considered4- Please refer to the BOQ document, where it is mentioned that VFD is required in both item 1 and item 2.5- Please refer to the amended specification documents (which will be included in amendment no. 2 that will be released very soon), where AHU construction is as follows:Outer: painted galvanized steel 1.0 mm Thickness.Inner: painted galvanized steel 0.7 mm Thickness.Floor plate: painted galvanized steel 1.0 mm Thickness.6- In BOQ item 1, VFD shall control the supply fan speed based on the deferential pressure on HEPA filter. Hence differential pressure has to be supplied.In BOQ item 2, the VFD shall control the supply fan speed based on back pressure due to dampers closing in unoccupied departments or zones.Hence, it is the contractor responsibility to allow for instrumentations (pressure sensor, control wiring, ..etc.) to make this control part achievable in AHUs operation.7- ON/OFF motorized control valve.8- Sound attenuator can be eliminated from all AHUs.9- As per BOQ item 4, Plant manager is part of the chiller supply. Plant manager can be eliminated from the chiller item description provided that, each chiller shall be equipped with microprocessor to control each refrigeration circuit in a manner that satisfies the control requirement in the specifications (Appendex B/Sec 2.6).
