Cimex Lectularius (Bed Bugs) - Eradication Services

1. The United Nations Procurement Division (UNPD) will soon be issuing a solicitation for a one (1) year contract, with option to extend for one (1) year, for the eradication of Cimex Lectularius, also known as bed bugs, throughout the facilities of the UN Headquarters in New York, NY. The winning bidder will be required to (i) implement a program of eradication and service schedules coordinated with the semi-annual testing program implemented by another vendor under separate contract, and (ii) provide "on-call" eradication services within 24 hours of demand by staff through the UN Plant Engineering Section. 2. Please note that this is not an invitation for submission of a proposal. This is a request for expressions of interest (EOI) in order to identify qualified vendors interested in participating in the solicitation. 3. Interested vendors must provide the completed Vendor Response Form (attached). 4. UNPD will examine this EOI and reserves the right to select the invitees for competitive bidding. Accordingly, an expression of interest does not automatically warrant an interested vendor's participation in the competitive bidding exercise. 5. UNPD reserves the right to change or cancel any of this requirement at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. 6. UNPD requests the interested vendors to respond to this EOI no later than 24 December 2010 at 5:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
