On each schedule you will find the instructions and the requested from the bidders to do.For the insurance, please submit a comittment letter, in which you confirm that the requested insurance will be submitted as per requested in case of awarding.

New clarification added: UNOPS Clarification:Regarding to Item No. 13-01-02 (Cast iron pipes for drainage and vent services) under Division 13 mechanical works.UNOPS Answer:The cast iron pipes not available in the market. Can we use upvc Pipes ? Cast iron is required as per specifications. It is the contractors responsibility to source this item (locally or internationally).

New clarification added: Clarificarion:Regarding the fire alarm system, will you install a new board and connect it with the existing board or separate? UNOPS Answer:It is a stand-alone system with a separate FACP and it’s not connected to any existing board. Clarificarion:What is the source that supplies the fire system? UNOPS Answer:Fire fighting system is supplied by the line feeding existing hose-reel cabinet shown on Dwg# ME-07-BClarificarion:Is the current sanitation system enough for the work that should be done? UNOPS Answer:Please follow the design drawings and project specificatins.Clarificarion:Who is responsible for the removal of the equipments that are already on the site? UNOPS Answer:Contractor is responsible as per Division 2 - note 6 of the BOQ.Clarificarion:Where should we deliver the things that should be removed? UNOPS Answer:Refer to Division 2 - note 2 of the BOQ.Clarificarion:Where is the main supply system for the gas? UNOPS Answer:There is no gas in the scope of work except the compressed air. In general the existing MEP services shown on the design drawings are indicative only, it is the contractor's responsibility to coordinate with the building operator upon site mobilization for exactly determining the nearest point of connection to each utility system such as water, compressed air,..etc.Clarificarion:Does the current daylightning fit for the required electromechanical installations? UNOPS Answer:Question not clear please re-phrase with details and send again.

New clarification added: Clarification:what's the difference between (bid schedule 9) and (bid schedule 11)UNOPS Answer:Bidders are requested to carefully read each returnable bid schedule and prepare their responses accordingly.Returnable bid schedule 9: is related to the Workd Management System in which bidders are required to provide the Project implementation/quality management, Health and safety management and Environmental management.Returnable bid schedule 11: Bidders should provide an outline statement method statement setting out how they intend to stage and construct the works and coordinate with the local authorities in order to obtain all required authorizations and make sure that the project will be implemented on schedule.

D-01 (BOQ) 4 Nos. (Dwg) 5 Nos.b. D-05 (BOQ) 4 Nos. (Dwg) 3 Nos.UNOPS Answer: Sames as per reply to item 1 aboveClarification:3- Can you include on Dwg. (13-04-02 under division no. 13/ Mechanical Works) in the BoQ, as follows:BOQ item 13-04-02-E for EXF-05 :- quantity was amended to be 0.0 instead of 2.0. Therefore, follow the design drawing for this item.BOQ item 13-04-02-D for EXF-04 :- quantity was amended to be 2.0 instead of 1.0.This amendment is reflected on the file named: "Annex 3-Bill of Quantities-rev.2" which is located under the document tab.Other info, conditions & terms remain the same with no change.

New amendment added #1: This amendment was raised in order to add point no. 6 to "Annex 3-bill of quantities-rev1 file " under (Division 02 : Demolition - note No. 6 ).The new added point stipulates that: "6- The contractor shall include in his price the dismantling of Architectural items (Doors, Windows, Aluminum Cladding, etc...) and Electromechanical systems and equipment (Electrical panel, sockets, lights, sterilization machines, softener, etc....)"The amended file is located under the documents tab "Annex 3-bill of quantities-rev1 file ".Other info, conditions & terms remain the same with no change.
