New clarification added: Section III: Schedule of Requirements, Paragraph 6, Page 2:In a previous clarification, the customer clarified that equipment is not included in the requirements of the RPF.“Equipment is not included in the requirements of this RFP.”Please confirm that Offerors are not required to provide interpretation equipment under this contract, and only indicate what equipment is used for each type of environment.Answer: Thank you for pointing this out. That is correct, Offerors are not required to provide interpretation equipment under this contract.

New clarification added: I understand that you prefer to hire US-Based cmpanies for in-person interpretation requirements, however, I would like to ask if companies located ouside the US can send partial quotation for the virtual interpretation and written translatio parts only?Answer: Partial proposals shall not be allowed. Offerors must quote prices for the total goods and/or services for the total requirement. Evaluation will be done for the total requirement.

The virtual component has been introduced as a safety precaution given COVID-19 restrictions.

Is the Project Manager required to be submitted as seprate file/document with proposal?Answer: Authorized personnel can sign the document on behalf of the company. Exclusivity and availability form is not applicable for this RFP.

(Bidder must attach copy of USA business registration.)”To provide proof of U.S. Business Registration, should Offerors submit a copy of their State Registration as part of their proposal? If so, may Offerors submit proof of U.S. Business Registration as an appendix to Section III, Returnable Bidding Forms? Answer: Yes, Bidders are required to submit the US business registration cerficate.

New clarification added: Hello,Could you please confirm why only US-based companies qualify for this RFP? We are concerned that this appears to be discriminatory against companies based in other UN Member States.Many thanks.Answer: The rationale behind preferring US-based companies is due to the scope and type of work that will be required. Many virtual meetings will require technical rehearsals ahead of time. Given past experience and taking into account the complexity of events that will be organized, it may be challenging for NYC based personnel to communicate with a team of interpreters located in a different time zone.

New clarification added: The requirement of a succesful track record in servicing high-level meetings / UN panels in hte last 2 years in particular, during the GA High-Level season is a requirement to be met by the bidder company or by the key experts (freelance interpreters in our case)?
