PROVISION OF THE UNITED NATIONS ENVIRONMENT PROGRAMME(UNEP) BRANDED LINE OF PRODUCTS

The United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) hereby requests interested firms to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) to participate in the upcoming competitive bidding exercise for the Supply of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) Branded Line of Products. Background: The United Nations Environment Programme is the leading global environmental authority that sets the global environmental agenda, promotes the coherent implementation of the environmental dimension of sustainable development within the United Nations system and serves as an authoritative advocate for the global environment. Its mandate is to coordinate the development of environmental policy consensus by keeping the global environment under review and bringing emerging issues to the attention of governments and the international community for action. UNEP’s Communication Division communicates the Organization’s core messages to stakeholders and partners, raising environmental awareness and enhancing the profile of UNEP worldwide. The UN Environment Assembly is scheduled to take place in Nairobi on February 2021 and a suite of branded UNEP merchandise is required for the event for visiting delegates, for staff and to stock the UN Gift Shop. It is vital that the products all comply with UN quality standards including specific advisories on using eco-friendly materials reflecting our non-toxic policy and our campaign to reduce single-use plastics. UNEP will supply the logo pack with usage guidelines for the purposes of branding and customization. The details of the requirement shall be communicated in due course in the tender documents. UNON invites companies to express their interest by filling out the vendor response form and sending it either electronically or via email. Interested vendors may forward their Expressions of Interest (EOI) along with the signed vendor forms to eunice.mapenzi@un.org, unon-procurement-rfx@un.org by 24 May 2020 UNON reserves the right to change or cancel the requirement of this EOI at any time during the EOI and/or solicitation process. Thus, submitting a reply to this REOI does not automatically guarantee your company will be considered for receipt of the solicitation when issued. Only Vendors which in UN's sole discretion are deemed eligible and qualified upon completion of an objective evaluation of their EOI submissions may receive the final tender solicitation documents.
