Description
1.0 The United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit bids for the Supply, Installation, Commissioning and Testing of FRIM (Facility Remote Infrastructure Monitoring) System for the United Nations Integrated Compound (UNIC) and other UNAMI sites (Forward Support Base at the airport and Tamimi Camp) located in Baghdad, in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, scope of works, general conditions and other related documents. 2.0 FRIM is an advanced standardized IIoT (Industrial Internet of Things) platform to monitor infrastructure equipment. The platform shall: - collect, organize, visualize and facilitate in near real-time the interpretation of information from sensors - use data and technology to foster efficiency, improve sustainability, manage costs and enhance quality of services and life factors for UN Personnel in the Filed Mission - provide visibility over infrastructure, through 24/7/365 monitoring, alerting and reporting capacity - be integrated with Power BI to deliver a set of standard reports (mission dashboard, power and water consumption, etc.) - monitor: Water (at individual accommodations, main supply points, tanks, boreholes, etc.), Wastewater (at Waste Water Treatment Plant) and Energy (at individual accommodations, shared facilities, generators, fuel stations, UPS, etc.) FRIM service shall provide customers devices management and monitoring tool. This tool is a class of software which UNAMI dedicated personnel can remotely monitor, control, report and access to historical data of managed devices in the mission. FRIM software tool shall:  receive data from many different sources and consolidate it into a single graphical interface  transform raw data into actionable information and make it accessible to all requested users  proactively monitor the infrastructure data in order to deliver real-time alerts when critical events occur  store and secure the infrastructure data so information is both accessible to users and protected  acquire data from different sensors using the ethernet network  store data in SQL Server to generate reports in Power BI. FRIM system is composed by electrical smart meters, fuel smart meters, water smart meters, network and SCADA system, electrical cables, fiber optic cables, control systems, etc. 2.1 The company shall provide all personnel, management, manpower, equipment, tools, materials and other resources to plan, prepare and execute the services above specified. 2.2 UNAMI will provide the preliminary design and calculation of the system. Additional engineering design service is required to the company to validate, finalize and certify the executive design. 2.3 Capability to execute projects in Baghdad at Green Zone, obtain security clearance and organize escort for personnel, equipment, tools and materials to and from Green Zone without UNAMI assistance. 3.0 It is Mandatory that Proposers shall visit UNAMI sites prior to the submission of their proposal in order to thoroughly familarize themselves with the location, operating conditions and specific requirements. 4.0 The solicitation will be based on Scope of work (SOW), Bill of Quantities, Technical Specifications, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualified for this tender. 5.0 For this purpose, UNAMI will undertake a competitive bidding exercise shortly, accordingly would issue tender documents to those companies who would express their interest and provide initial relevant information as to their ability to fulfill UNAMI's requirement. 6.0 In addition, the interested companies are requested to complete their registration at Level 1 on the United Nations Global Marketplace (www.ungm.org). 7.0 Please note on the following: a) This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid/proposal. b) UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for tender document. c) UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
