Kindly find below the answer that was raised by some vendors for your information.

Question: it seems that many pieces of info are missing. For example, we would require the items highlighted below in order to provide an accurate quote.

Answer: The above technical details are applicable for centrifugal booster pumps, we are requesting submersible pumps with specified SPs (West European made) for pumping safe drinking water from deep wells (not for pumping contaminated water).

 

Question: Is the 50C for water or ambient? 

Answer: Works with water temp arrive 50 C.

 

Question: What is the RPM ( Pole or Speed ) for the motor? Also, we need: Power, Voltage, HZ, Speed, IP protection, Mounting type at least.

Answer: As per specified SP and manufactural specification (as advertised in the bid), for Iraq we use 380/220V, 3-phase & 50 Hz.

Question: Can you advise if the customer needs the motors to use on the inquired pumps? Or they need for other existing pumps?

Answer: For Line item of supplying submersible pumps is a complete sets including motor, pump soft starter (control panel), non-return valve, cables, etc. while others items are for supplying motors (engine for submersible pumps only) all items are required to be delivered to Dohuk W/H without any installation.

 

Question; Will the Soft Starters be installed in the Control room of the pump station? What does the " Container " refer to for the Soft starter? What is the distance between Soft starters and the pumps? 

Answer: Not needed the request is only for supply without installation.

Question: For the items no. (00010-00050) supply submersible pumps are there comes with motor or just pumps?

Answer: Complete set of Submersible pumps (West European made) with electrical rewindable motor, soft starter, cable, etc.

Question: What do you mean with (Control panel complete set) is that mean with (Starter board) or what?

Answer: Supplying soft starter in container ? kw, 400volt, 50HZ, IP=54, the starter should includes all protection, monitoring and control units (main circuit breaker, main fuses, phase failure, phase sequence, over load, over and under voltage, water level control, ventilation fan, voltmeter, ammeter, hour meter, manual and automatic switches...etc..), the starter should be made by well known manufacturer in a western country, upon processing the certificate of origin must be presented.

  1. Question: Please clarify if motors required along with submersible pumps are a REWINDABLE type or CANNED type? It is not mentioned specifically in the BOQ description

Whereas Spare motors required are clearly mentioned as REWINDABLE.

            Answer: it is an Electrical rewindable motor.

  1. Question: in Item #(00010/00020/00030/ 00040/ 00050)submersible pumps 
  1. These items only pumps or with motors?
  2. : Complete set of Submersible pumps (West European made) with the electrical rewindable motor.

 

  1. What is the size of the cable?
  2. : 150 M three-core power cable size 3 x 16mm2 and control cable size 3 x1.5mm2 for SP 30X20 and less suitable for control pane

 

  1. What is the size of cable for the low-level cut -out?

           Answer: As reflected above.

 

  1. What do you mean by the control panel (is soft starter ) or what?
  2. :  Soft starter panel.

 

  1. What do you mean spare parts (please if you can give us more details  of them and what it is quantity )
  2. :  2 bags off the tail cable, 4 cable terminal, and 3  cut-outs (off level) electrode.

 

  1. Question: in Item #(00110/00120/00130/ 00140)submersible pumps: The starter should be made by well known manufacturer in a western country (Do you mean the Starter components materials or the starter manufacture?
  2. : Starter should be made by a well-known manufacturer in a western country. Handing over will be upon processing certificate of origin must be presented.

 

  1. Question: We needs to know the name of the pump manufacturer(Brand) because the mentioned specifications are specific to the specific type of company:  
  2. : Any brand manufactured in West European countries.
