The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) seeks Expression of Interest (EOI) from competent and qualified companies for the Provision of Satellite Voice, Data Services and associated Satellite equipment/devices and accessories to the United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS) UNSOS intends to contract a vendor for the Satellite voice, data services and associated satellite equipment/ devices and accessories to UNSOS in Kenya and Somalia. UNSOS is currently using Thuraya and Iridium satellite phones for providing voice communication in Somalia and Kenya. Similarly, satellite data services the same equipment (Iridium and Thuraya) terminals are used. At present, there are 76 Iridium Press-To-Talk (PTT) sets and 101 Thuraya Satellite phones in the mission and service. The successful Contractor will enter into a three-year contract with UNSOS with an option to extend the contract for an additional one year under the same terms and conditions. Detailed requirements and specifications will be provided in the Tender document to be issued at a later date.
