The United Nations Global Service Centre in Brindisi, Italy (UNGSC) requires the services of a qualified Contractor for the modification of existing Low tension critical power system in its Data Centre Infrastructure within its compound at the Aeroporto Militare “O. Pierozzi” in Brindisi – Italy, so as to comply with TIER III Certification of Design Documents (TCDD). The Contractor shall be responsible for the delivery of a turn-key project including all documentation, labor, materials, transport, tools, equipment needed to implement and finalize the project and release certificate of completion as per Italian Regulations. After the final hand‐over, the Contractor shall guarantee two-year (2) warranty period for the new installations and ten (10) years warranty period for the workmanship. Due to the strict interconnection of all systems, activities, works, certifications and warranties, subcontracting of any of the works/services will not be applicable. The project shall be carried out over a period of 120 working days in accordance with the below listed schedule: - Phase I - Safety, Planning and Scheduling; - Phase II - Modification of Low Tension (LT) Distribution Power System, entailing the provision and installation of new Electrical Panels in Building A and Building B and the modification of existing Building B Distribution Panels into Data Centre DC01 and DC02; - Phase III - Commissioning, Testing, Maintenance Plan and As Built Drawings. The Contractor shall be responsible for the transport, lifting, crane operation, loading and unloading of all materials and equipment. Bidders will be required to attend a mandatory Site Visit/Bidders’ Conference at the UNGSC, Brindisi – Italy.
