[Conservation and adaptation works at Rashid Madrassah, Bukhara, Uzbekistan – Re-bid]

United Nations Educational, Science and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) hereby invite qualified companies to submit sealed tenders as follows:

The component includes conservation, partial restoration and adaptation of Rashid madrasah. The conservation and restoration works include following:

reinforce the foundations where necessary; clean the floors, walls and ceiling from the old plaster layers; displace the construction waste; renew partly, where necessary, the brickwork of walls, ceilings and courtyard; whitewash the walls; install electrical system; install the sewerage system; install the underfloor heating; install rain water pipes and drainage system; install toilets on the 1st floor; install a boiler room; pave floors with the square Muslim bricks inside the rooms and the courtyard, and where necessary, install the doors and windows, install of the rain water pipes and storm water drain.

As a result of the Conservation and adaptation works the ground floor of the Madrassah will be fully completed by the December 2019.
