It is anticipated that the Unite Nations Secreteriat located in New York, USA, will shortly be issuing a solicitation for the Renewal of Maintenance and Technical support service for Symantec software. In this connection, the UN is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms. Scope of work: 1 (one) Year Renewal for the following products: A. Product: SPE-NAS-NEW-AG-5K-10K-USR Protection Engine for NAS, License, ACD-GOV 5,000-9,999 Users Quantity: 8,600 B. Product: SEP-RNW-AG-10K-50K Endpoint Protection, License, ACD-GOV 10,000-49,999 Devices Quantity: 46,000 Acquisition of new licenses: A. Product: SPE-SSERV-RNW-AG-1-25-SRV Protection for SharePoint Servers, License, ACD-GOV 1-24 Servers Quantity: 48 B. Product: SPE-SSERV-RNW-AG-5K-10K-USR Protection for SharePoint Servers, License, ACD-GOV 1,000-4,999 Users Quantity: 2,000 The Request for Proposal will be sent to the firms who reacted to this EOI. You are kindly requested to review the overview of Specific requirements as following page, and to provide information as to whether your company could fulfill the requirements. The UN reserves the right to verify any information submitted or request additional clarification in writing. Incomplete or inadequate responses, failure to respond or misrepresentation in reponding to any question may disqualify your firm from further consideration as a suitable potential bidder in the event that a solicitation is issued in the future. Vendors expressing interest must be registered, or registered in response to this call, with United Nations Global Marketplace (UNGM) so that they can participate in the Request for Proposal at a later stage. Detailed technical specifications shall be provided at a later stage under the Invitation to Bid. This EOI does not constitute a solicitation. The UN reserves the right to modify requirement or cancel it any time during the EOI phase or the solicitation process. Submitting a response to this request for EOI does not automatically guarantee that a vendor will receive an invitation to participate in the solicitation. Only those companies deemed qualified, upon completion of an objective evaluation of the vendor application, will receive the final Request for Proposal.
