By providing short-term employment, this project offers immediate financial relief to vulnerable communities while simultaneously building long-term water conservation infrastructure in the communities affected by the earthquake. This dual approach enhances water availability, improves agricultural productivity and strengthens climate resilience. Moreover, the program fosters community empowerment, reduces migration pressures and promotes sustainable water management practices. In the long run, it contributes to poverty reduction, food security, and improved livelihoods, making it a vital strategy for post-earthquake recovery, economic growth and environmental conservation, ensuring a more sustainable and resilient future.
