The United Nations University (UNU) is seeking a facilitator to assist with a workshop on developing the 2025 – 2029 UNU ICT Strategic Plan. The workshop will be held in Macau from July 15 to 19, 2024, with the facilitator expected to assist with 2 days of the programme.
The workshop will bring together ICT focal points from all UNU institutes, as well as representatives from the Office of the Rector and the Campus Computing Centre (C3), which provides strategic leadership and coordination for ICT at the UNU. The workshop aims to build on the previous ICT Strategic Plan (2021 - 2024), which identified four strategic objectives for UNU ICT: information security, standardization of tools and processes, culture of service excellence, and innovation in the delivery of services and use of data.
The facilitated sessions will have the following objectives:
• Identify how the ICT strategic plan can support the UNU’s strategic goals;
• Generation of materials for the new strategic plan, based on the vision, mission, and goals of the UNU and its stakeholders;
• Identification of ICT strategic objectives for 2025 - 2029, aligned with the draft UNU Strategic Plan;
• Identification and development of methods for measuring the implementation and impact of the new plan, including indicators, targets, and feedback mechanisms;
• Assessment of the UNU's strengths and weaknesses in implementing the previous ICT strategic plan, and insights for enhancement.
