Request for Proposal for the Design and Construction of UN Women’s Afghanistan Country Office Containerized Accommodation and Office Buildings in United Nations Office Complex in Afghanistan UNOCA Com

Currently UN Women Afghanistan Country Office (ACO) is renting accommodation for their international staff from United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan (UNAMA) and other UN sister agencies, and is renting office space from United Nations Office for Project Services (UNOPS) in the UNOCA Compound. The purpose of the present project is to design and construct two containerized buildings: one to serve as accommodation for UN Women Afghanistan international staff, and the other to provide office space for UN Women Afghanistan national and international staff. This project will be completed in two phases:

• Phase One will include Project design, site grading and leveling, site cleaning, construction of Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) underground bunker and storage facility, construction of two RCC septic tanks for the office and preparation and construction of foundation for both accommodation and office buildings.
• Phase Two will consist in the fabrication and installation of the containerized buildings. This includes all internal installation items such as cupboards, sinks, etc.
