Description
This tender is for the supply of Motorcycles, motor scooters and electricity propelled bicycles for multiple destinations worldwide.
UNOPS wishes to establish non-exclusive Long Term Agreements (LTAs) with more than one vendor and to display the awarded units in electronic catalogues on UN Web Buy Plus (http://www.unwebbuyplus.org) allowing UNOPS clients to order without further tendering.
Bid documents must be submitted via UNOPS eSourcing System (see below), AND all Technical Specifications and Prices must be entered in the Internet-based UN Web Buy Plus Tender Portal (see 'Scope of bid' in the section 'Particulars').

New clarification added: Question 8: Section II: Schedule of Requirements > B. Technical spec for goods and Comparative Data tableAs for Lot 11 and 12, minimum 2 front and 2 rear oscillating warning lights blue or red are required as Police Motorcycle features, but to our knowledge there used to be no options for rear oscillating warning lights. Response 8: As the specifications for these Lots also include a rotating beacon, UNOPS will accept bids without the 2 rear oscillating warning lights as technically acceptable. Front oscillating warning lights, blue or red (min. 2) are required.

New clarification added: Question 5: I’m the potential bidder on ITB/2019/11328 project. I’m emailing you to confirm the questions based on Qualification Criteria 2.1 “bidder should be in continuous business of manufacturing/supporting products similar to those specified in Section II: Schedule of Requirements during at least the last 5 yrs prior to bid opening”.My questions are:a. Are these products should be exactly the motorcycle (peterol and electric powered) or these related products? Can it be any other products but similar model/schema similar to Section II? b. Should it be IN Continuously be in last 5 yrs? Or during in last 5 yrs?c. If we as the bidder, did not have the experience during the in continuous business in last five yrs, how about the manufacture as our sub-contractor own the intelligence. Is it can be also regarded as a qualified tender?Response: a. The criteria refers to similar products, In this case, similar products are motorcycles (whether the same specifications as the ones requested or not).b. The criteria refers to continuous business which means continuously during the last 5 years. c. A sub-contractor's experience does not not count as they will not have any legal relationship with UNOPS. Experience from joint-venture partner however will count as they will be jointly liable in an agreement.

New clarification added: Question 4: We are glad to inform you that we are now able to save after editing.We had in mind the "save" button on the buttom right corner in each category pages was required to press after every input/edit process.(it took time for us to know the save button turns active after all category pages are completely filled)It was our misunderstanding, but it was intuitive if the button guides with "next" instead of "save".Response: Noted

New clarification added: Question 2: We started inputting our new product information on UN Web Buy plus tender portal to be saved as a draft, but found we cannot save any new information on the "Edit Product" page. There is no dropdown menu for "Catalogue" and "Category", but is this the reason?Is the portal not ready yet? Response: The tender portal is ready to add products as of the tender start date. You should be able to edit product information except for minimum warranty. Kindly retry using a different brower. If you still encounter the same problem, take a screenshot and submit it to us for review,
