Description
The United Nations Support Office in Somalia (UNSOS), is seeking qualified Vendors for the Provision of Wireless Social Welfare Internet Service in Somalia. This is to support the welfare aspect of its staff and other UN agencies within the same compound and offices area, for unrestricted Internet service out of the United Nations ‘Blue Network’ in order to accommodate activities out of official chores, also known as social welfare. The Scope of Requirement includes but not limited to the below. The offices located in Somalia require a high-speed wireless Internet service that is to be provided by the Local Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Somalia. The said Internet service must be able to provide full strength signal coverage at the locations where the facility is installed. There should be no restriction or any sort of filter applied on the Internet access, and the service provider must be able to assist in unblocking the restriction if it occurs.
