Security Guarding Services ICC BANGUI Field Office
It is anticipated that the International Criminal Court (ICC), will shortly be issuing a solicitation for the provision of Security Guarding Services for the ICC Field Office in Bangui CAR. In this connection, the ICC is requesting expression of interest from qualified firms.
Objectives:
The objective of this service agreement is the delivery of security guard services to the ICC Field Office in Bangui CAR on a 24/7 basis.
ICC Field Office necessitates a provision of security guards to provide guarding of the premises, reception, screening and escort of all persons, deliveries and vehicles arriving at these premises. The security concept is intended to prevent persons entering the field office and bring in prohibited items, such as firearms, explosives, or other weapons which may endanger staff, witnesses and accused persons or otherwise adversely impact on the daily functioning of the Court’s activities. In practical terms, there is a requirement for outsourced security guards to be deployed to control access to the field office and to screen persons entering the building by verifying their identity and using appropriate security equipment provided by the ICC.
The detailed scope of work will be given under the Request for Proposal document that will be sent to the
qualified vendors who respond to this EOI.
Note: To be eligible for final award the offeror’s must have recently undergone UNDSS security audit process; assessed and approved to provide unarmed security services to the United Nations (UN) premises, residences and UN personnel. The offeror’s status, which is a compulsory requirement that a candidate must meet to be appropriate for this multi-year assignment, will be verified by the ICC Field Office with the UNDSS as this is a pass/fail evaluation criteria under this tender.
