New clarification added: Zipper Protection Cover Requirement:This trouser zippers are not covered as a safety precaution, i.e. if the EOD operator is incapacitated, the zippers need to be easily accessible to Emergency Medical Technician’s (EMT). The zippers do have protection against accidental quick release, but they are not covered. Would UNOPS clarify this requirement.Best RegardsDear bidder,The requirement was so that the Zipper was protected against the elements with a Flap covering it, which could be easily lifted to get to the Zipper. However if the suit has protection against accidental quick release this may be overlooked. Best regards.
