Description
1.0 United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq (UNAMI) intends to solicit proposals for the repair and maintenance services for One X-RAY Machine (Linescan Model SYS-210, Serial# 151916) and One Grret Magnascanner CS 5000 (Walk through Metal Detector) currently installed and in use at the UNAMI HQ Kuwait. The requirements also includes one time on site training of UN Staff , details of the Requirements are as follow: i) Maintenance, Repairs and/or replacements of faulty parts of the subject related hardware with brand new spare parts(including cables, connectors, monitors and any other equipment required for normal operations and functioning of the systems). ii) Routine Maintenance and repair/replacement on a quarterly basis and/or on call maintenance (emergency) iii) Quarterly inspection i.e at every 3 Month intervals for X-Ray machine (Linescan) and the Walk Through Metal Detectors. (Note: The resulting contract if any will be established for initial period of one year with an option to extend at UNAMI discretion under the same terms and conditions for additional four (4) years one year at a time) The solicitation will be based on a detailed Statement of Requirement, UN General Conditions of Contracts and other related documents which will be provided by UNAMI to all companies who respond to this EOI and qualify for the tender, and to enable the prospective proposers to have full understanding of the UNAMI’S requirements, a mandatory site visit will be required by the proposers at UNAMI regional Headquarters Kheitan KUWAIT. 2.0 Please note on the following: • This EOI is not an invitation for submission of a bid. • UNAMI reserves the right in selecting the invitees for the competitive bidding based on substantial and proven records of performance in the subject field of activities and mere expressing an interest would not automatically warrant for RFP document. • UNAMI reserves the right to reject EOIs received after the above deadline.
