RFQS-USA-2017-706400: Design and conduction of a 1-day Storytelling Workshop
Q: Would you confirm approximate number of attendees in the workshop?
A: The approximate number of attendees will be not more than 25.
Q: You state that the purpose of the workshop is to "train DOC participants in storytelling methodology, stressing the relationship between storytelling and listening; impart a skill set that connects participants' personal stories to their work at UNICEF, which will include personalized feedback and individual coaching;" which is an ambitious but achievable agenda for a one day workshop. You add that the purpose is also to "provide a practical framework for eliciting stories from children. The workshop should highlight the impact of visual storytelling (including photography and videography) to create compelling stories." We don't typically work with child tellers or focus on visual storytelling. The learnings from the workshop will be relevant to these two areas in a general sense, is it essential that they be addressed specifically?
A: We kept the scope a little bit broad so that the vendor can identify how they would tailor the workshop and what exactly they can offer to UNICEF. Let us know which aspect of the TOR you feel strongly about in terms of expertise and skill set.
Q: We cannot give UNICEF the rights to reuse the content of the workshop, beyond the stories generated in the workshop, in webinars and other related activity within UNICEF. Is the intention to use content beyond the stories?
A: We want the rights to the stories participants generate in the workshop only.
