Consultancy to facilitate the Government of the Republic of Zambia and United Nations Executive Retreat

The Consultant will make necessary preparations, including produce all material needed for the retreat, in consultation with the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office, and facilitate the GRZ-UN Executive Leadership Retreat in Lusaka. The consultant will also prepare a succinct report of the retreat, summarising the process, discussions and decisions taken, as well as providing expert recommendations on a way forward.

By the end of the joint retreat, the senior GRZ and UN leadership will have:

1. Shared understanding of the government's new structures and processes, including for localising the SDGs through the 7NDP and subsequent national development plans as well as other supporting processes and instruments
2. Shared understanding of the UN in Zambia's strengthened Delivering as One approach and the approach, structure and mechanisms of the Partnership Framework
3. Strengthened ability as a network of senior leaders to share roles and responsibilities in advancing the implementation of the SDGs through the 7NDP and the Partnership Framework
