The United Nations is seeking air transportation services utilising rotary wing aircraft with 24/7 VFR/IFR/NVG Search & Rescue and Aero Medical Evacuation (AME) Capability to be used in support of peace-keeping operations in MINUSMA, Mali. The services are required to be provided simultaneously in two different locations within the borders of Mali. The aircraft may be used throughout other parts of Africa and the world as the need arises. Although the primary purpose of the future solicitation will be for Search & Rescue and Aero Medical Evacuation (AME) services, it will also be requested that the rotary wing aircraft proposed be capable to perform general logistic tasks such as transportation of passengers and general cargo when not engaged in their primary purpose. It is to note that the operations, especially the SAR/AME, are required to be performed in a high risk area where an elevated threat level exists and where the necessity to have aircraft with missile protection system installed is a must. The intent of this E.O.I notice is to encourage experienced, reputable Aircraft Operators to express their interest in providing the subject services.
